TS Support Group Meeting Play Time!

After our Support Group Meeting we spend about 20 minutes or more playing games with the kids so they can let out some of their energy before getting into the car for the ride home. Here Kenny is giving instructions to the kids on the next activity.

One of the best pieces of advice I could give to parents of a child dealing with TS, is to surround your child with good people. Here we are celebrating Kenny's 16th Birthday with a good old fashion game of Flag Football to include his friends from church, Young Life, school, Scouts, his football team,  neighbors and family.

Life Center South Youth Retreat

Kenny getting ready to go on his first Youth Group Retreat with our church Life Center South. Kenny has been blessed with great friends and leaders from our church who have played a big part in Kenny's journey in dealing with his TS.

Happy Sweet 16 Birthday Kenny!

Happy Sweet Sixteen Kenny! Dropped Kenny off at school today and told him that I will bring him his favorite Subway sandwich to school later for his lunch. I also mentioned that I would even deliver it with a special Birthday song and dance . He immediately responded "I will pay you 5 bucks not to do that!" Love this kid!

TS Kids Day Out - Laser Tag!

Kenny, Cody and I with the wonderful lady who made this all possible - Pamela Curnel, my Director of the Mrs. Washington America Pageant. I am so grateful for the doors that have opened up and the healing that has taken place in my family as a result of my involvement with the pageant and winning the title of Mrs. Washington 2010. It has really helped make a difference in reaching more people while promoting TS Awareness.
